Hello from Zurich. As you can see from the photos below, we at last have snow on the ground here! Lucky loves the snow, but the shoveling left him exhausted - ha.

Fondue is the perfect meal for a chilly winter evening, and last night we had a group of friends in for a 3-stage feast, to try out various types of Fondue. We began with the traditional Cheese Fondue, moved onto a Chinese-style Broth Fondue for beef and fish, and ended the evening with, of course, Chocolate Fondue. Believe it or not, we actually had leftover melted chocolate, and found a great use for it this morning - Mochas!

I’m glad so many of you are enjoying this blog. We’ll try to keep the posts coming. ~Susan

YUM! The French Canadians love fondue - fondue fromage, fondue chinoise, fondue CHOCOLATE! It's one of my favorite things to do in Quebec City! But I hear the Swiss are the best at it. I'm told if you drop your morsal in the pot, you have to kiss the person next to you! (I think that's just a dirty, old, quebec man thing...) Remember, there may be left-over chocolate, but there is never wasted chocolate!!

Miss you!

Hey Susan and Jesse and Lucky!

We're so glad to hear from you. We lost your email address and wondered if we'd be able to connect before you came back (if ever?!). The pics are wonderful, looks like you've made some friends
(so much for never entertaining!).
Maybe you can treat us to one of your fondue feasts someday.
We're doing fine, hope the same for you and yours.
